HEATHER STEAD DESIGN
I founded Heather Stead Design extending my signature warmth and hospitality through my graphic design offerings; Oh, hello! and Paperleigh.
I’m a designer and creative leader working across strategy, story and design to give shape to ideas and make them tangible for the people they’re meant to reach. Over time, my work has expanded from designing to helping shape the thinking behind it. Design is still at the center of how I work. My definition of what it can do has simply gotten bigger.
That extends beyond my work. I’m a mom of three, I help coach my daughter’s cheer team, volunteer at my kids’ school, lend my time and creative experience to a fine art museum, and keep a small independent design practice. Those parts of my life keep me close to people, community and creativity. They remind me that design can be ambitious and strategic, but it can also be simply something made with care.
My goal: turning big ideas into something people can actually see, feel, and experience.
